The dog was adamant about not leaving the shelter without his beloved.

The Bursters from America had a lovely dog nine years ago, but she died. Katherine struggled for a long time to come to terms with her loss. But life has a surprise in store for them.

Katherine stumbled across an advertisement from a Philadelphia animal rescue organization searching for a home for a pair of pit bulls one day. The woman deduced from the publication that the dogs are extremely connected to one another and will most likely not tolerate separation. Katherine discovered after contacting this group that no one wants to accept a couple of dogs and that they would have to hunt for owners individually, and that there were already candidates for the boy.

The woman decided to talk to her husband about it. They spoke about it for a few days before going to the shelter to become familiar with the dogs. They knew they couldn’t leave them after spending some time with them. As a result, they brought the dogs to their residence.

Gus and Nina were the couple’s dogs, and they soon adapted to their new home, becoming very happy and lively. Their gratitude to the new owners for not separating them is palpable.

“I see how Gus would easily fade away without Nina now.” Katherine described her as “his support and motivation.” — If we took him and reared him without her, he’d be looking for mom all the time. Nina is still a bit more self-sufficient, but she would be lonely if she didn’t have a companion».

Their life together is now full of love, pleasure, and comfort. Thank you to the Bursters for giving them with all they needed!
