The homeless dog was brought to the volunteers in a bad state, but soon they revealed that it was harboring a lovely guy.

A stray German Shepherd was taken to the British charity Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in such bad shape that tears welled up just gazing at her. The dog named Ralph was cured thanks to volunteers and a new owner, and he showed everyone how gorgeous and gentlemanly he truly is!

Ralph, a homeless dog, originally arrived in a shelter.

The reason for the German shepherd’s appearance on the street is unknown, but he has certainly been without a home for some time. The four-year-old canine was in a terrible state as a result of his roaming lifestyle.
Wendy Tung, Ralph’s current owner, noted that the dog had been clearly abused by former owners:

“He was adamant about not going out into the yard without me.” I believe he was afraid of being left out in the cold. He appeared to have been shut in the yard and left alone before.” Ralph was quickly taken in by professionals, and the dog was changed as a result of their efforts.

Ralph was treated for an illness, an eye condition, and ear surgery at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which worked around the clock to heal him. Wendy Tung, 60, took Ralph for temporary care a month later and felt so connected to the dog that she and her husband decided to keep him forever:

“He had such a horrible start in life, yet he was always kind, compassionate, and trustworthy.” He brings us delight. When I initially got him home, he was still in horrible shape, and it was heartbreaking to see. He was a skeleton with no muscles.” The dog, according to the new owner, is a true gentleman.

Wendy never causes her pet to be sad: “He’s very well-behaved.” He will never complain or beg for anything.” And Cinderella’s transition from stray canine to such a lovely guy is a true Cinderella story. Only in the manner of a dog!
