Without dogs, I can’t picture our world. These animals are incredibly unselfish and devoted. They can defend us from a variety of risks due to their honed instincts. For example, in this anecdote, a dog named Maggie saved his owner’s life by notifying him and others to flee the burning house.
Maggie began barking abruptly at 3 a.m. on July 28 after a tranquil night. A dog barking in the middle of the night is not a pleasant experience. However, the dog’s owner, Joel Rosa, awoke from his bed to discover that his dog was not just barking, but that something weird was happening in his home.
He soon discovered that the roof of the home had taken fire. He bolted from the home, attempting unsuccessfully to put out the fire with water. The emergency personnel arrived and immediately went to work. The flames had made up to the second storey. It was a terrifying scenario, as Joel tells it. He had no idea how his house had suddenly caught fire.
The fire was sparked, it found out, by a lightning strike the day before. Unfortunately, the home was destroyed to the extent that 80 percent of it was lost. The good news is that no one survived the terrifying night.
“Oh, she’s my idol, I adore my dog,” Joel said again. It’s incredible. She, I believe, saved my life.”
