The couple wanted all eight dogs they had rescued to sleep in the same bed with them, so they built a massive bed for them.

“There was no going back now that I’d given them this!” Sharing their bed with dogs proved to be a difficult chore for one New York couple.

Chris and Marisa couldn’t sleep well when their eight dogs were sleeping in the same bed. So, they decided to enlarge the place.

What could be a better solution for everyone’s comfortable positioning than constructing a large bed?

And “colossal” is not an exaggeration! Two double mattresses may be accommodated by the bed frame. The bed is more than 13 feet long in total. Mike Ford, a bespoke furniture manufacturer who also happens to be a major animal lover, was approached with the couple’s ideas.

He eagerly agreed to embark on this task. And now, after 6 months of meticulous construction, the miraculous bed is complete. For older dogs that find it difficult to leap on and off the bed, a mini-ladder is integrated into the frame. Storage compartments are located at the bottom of this design.

Mike carved the paw prints of his old dog, who had died just a few months ago at the age of 16, onto the back of the bed. Chris and Marisea are the creators of a non-profit organization that saves sick and elderly dogs from shelters and places them with loving new families to live out their days.

The program also covers the costs of therapy and the reorganization of their new lives.

The pair goes to great lengths to ensure that as many elderly pets as possible are happy in their lives. This family is confident that couple more souls will also stay as well.
