Ann Page, 72, walked outside and was taken aback by the unexpected guest she encountered. By at least 20 miles from the sea, a real live seal was lounging on the grass in her garden.
Around 7:30 a.m., the woman walked out into the garden to water the plants. She does it every day, but things didn’t go as planned this time. A big seal was quickly observed on the pensioner’s garden.
“All we did was stare into one other’s eyes.” I returned to the home, leaving my watering can behind.
