Roeselien Raimond, a talented Dutch photographer (about whom we’ve previously written and spoken), captures gorgeous images of wild foxes. She volunteered to offer Bored Panda an exclusive interview for Valentine’s Day this year, talking about how attentive and loving foxes are, despite widespread notion that they are nasty and dishonest creatures.
“I’m not aware of any other animal that exhibits as much love and devotion as foxes. That might be because I’m unfamiliar with animals, such as foxes, but that’s not the point. The main point is….love. Foxy enjoys being more exact.”
“Foxes are renowned to be smart, deceptive, deceitful, and cruel creatures- a successful character assassination; even as a youngster, while reading the classic fox legends, I believed it.” That is, until I began following foxes and got to know them intimately, discovering that love must be their middle name.”
